Add these to the end of any request in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
1. Clarify first
Before answering, list any missing information and assumptions, and ask me what needs to be confirmed. Stops the AI guessing. Most bad answers come from missing context.
2. Show the thinking
Don't just give the answer. Explain how to think about it, including the criteria, priorities and common mistakes. You learn the method, not just the result.
3. Go three layers deep
Don't give a surface answer. Explain why, three layers deep. Example: content fails → weak hook → hook isn't specific → audience isn't clear. Now you see the real cause.
4. Compare properly
Compare [option A] and [option B]. Include pros, cons, who each is for, and a final recommendation.
5. Brutal feedback
Point out weaknesses, contradictions and unclear parts. Be direct. AI is polite by default; asking for critique finds the hidden flaws.
6. Expert mode
You are a [copywriter / accountant / site engineer]. Explain this simply, but with expert-level depth.
7. Self-improvement loop
Create the answer. Then list 3 improvements. Then rewrite it with those improvements. Great for posts, emails, scripts and landing pages.
Stack them
You are a sales copywriter. Before writing, ask me what you need to know. Then write the email, list 3 improvements, and rewrite it.
Quick start: pick one prompt, use it on a real task today, and compare the result with what you'd normally get.
