Free Payment Receipt Template (Printable, Excel)

Customers like a proper receipt, and you need a record of every dollar that comes in, especially at tax time. This template gives you both.

Fill in the top receipt and the office copy underneath fills itself in. Print it, cut along the line, and hand the top half to the customer. There's also a second tab to log each receipt, so you always know how much you've collected.

What you can do with it

• Give a receipt for cash, bank transfer, cheque, card or Lynk payments
• Note what the payment was for and any balance still owed
• Keep a running list of all receipts with a total at the top
• Use it for deposits, part payments or full payments

Good to know

• Number your receipts in order (R-0001, R-0002...) and never skip or reuse a number.
• Write the amount in words as well as figures. It's harder to change.
• Sign every copy before you hand it over.
• This is a blank template for real payments you receive. Fill it in honestly with the actual amount and date.
• Works in Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice. Print on normal letter paper.
